Great Eats in Regina
Hunter Gatherer Vegetarian Diner: Hunter Gatherer’s unique vibe and antique decor make it an ideal spot for a vegetarian dinner out. They have vegan options too, and some of their must-try dishes include Vegan Jackfruit Tacos, their Falafel Burger, or for some serious comfort food, try the Deep Fried Mac ‘N’ Cheese.
Da India Curry House: Da India serves up a ton of flavourful, aromatic and delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. Try the Channa Masala — chickpea curry cooked in Punjabi spices — or the Veg Vindallo, a mixed veggie dish in a curry tangy sauce. With more than 20 veg options on their menu, you’re guaranteed to find a favourite!
Skye Cafe & Bistro: This charming little spot has vegetarian and vegan lunch options you’ll love, including a Vegan Wild Mushroom and Pine Nut Ravioli, a Beet and Quinoa Vegan Burger, and a powerhouse green salad. They also do specialty dinners twice a month and private dinners for groups of 15-plus if you’re looking for a great place to book a special occasion.

All their takeaway meals are gluten-free, soy-free and vegan, and their menu includes homemade soups, snacks, salads and dips. With Recharge, you can bring your favourite food home, which makes serving vegan dinner all the easier.
Cafe Drip: Cafe Drip’s motto is “Healthy Fast Food,” and they certainly deliver on that. Their menu changes every month, meaning there’s always something new to try. It always features vegetarian and vegan options, including homemade soup, colourful and crunchy salads and tasty sandwiches on locally-made bread.
Tangerine Food Bar: Tangerine has lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options, and they have a regular menu plus a rotating daily one to offer lots of variety. Try the Asparagus, Feta and Dill Tart with a side soup, or any of their delicious bowls or salads. Their daily soup is often vegetarian as well.
Indulge in Saskatoon
Leyda’s Cafe: Leyda’s is a great option if you’ve got dinner plans with a meat lover, as they offer both meat and meatless dishes. They released a new menu in 2019, so there are many new options to try, including the Burrito Bowl, Broccoli Tacos and, of course, classic favourites such as their Mighty Kale Salad and flavourful Ayurvedic Soup.
Güd Eats: Güd specializes in super-tasty vegan fast food. They have plenty of gluten-free options, too. Try their comfort classics like the Mac N Cheez, one of their delicious loaded plant-based burgers, or have fun sharing with the Not-Chos or their creamy beet and bean dip with chips.

D’Lish by Tish: D’Lish’s daily selection of soup always offers a vegan option, and they have lots of tasty menu dishes to choose from. Some of my favourites are the Green Goddess salad, the Mediterranean Veggie Panini, or if you’re vegetarian, their specialty gourmet grilled cheese hits the spot. They also have vegan treats made in-house for a post-lunch snack.
Odd Couple: Odd Couple is a casual Asian restaurant with dishes that offer a fresh and unique twist on all your favourites. Try their Vegan Spring Rolls, Spicy Tofu Lo Mein or Vegan Noodle Soup. Many of their options can also be made vegan by asking for substitutes; sub Ginger Shiitake Mushrooms for beef in the Ginger Beef dish and you’ve got the best of both worlds!

They have delicious lunch options too, which can all be wrapped in naan bread as a sandwich, or paired with rice or quinoa for a gluten-free option. Try the vegan taco buffalo “chicken” as a bowl!
