Crawford Homes recently opened a beautiful new show home in the Creeks that’s ideal for a busy family. The Creeks is a lovely residential area located in highly desirable southeast Regina. Close to nature, this new subdivision features large lots, parks and nearby shopping. The new show home is custom designed for a corner lot and features gorgeous park views. Its layout and design make the most of the surrounding streetscape.

Crawford Homes is a family-owned and operated company that has remained Regina’s leading high-quality homebuilder for four decades. The company’s founder and CEO Al Bashutski has been at the helm for 40 years.

Kaitlin Bashutski designs and styles the company’s show homes and is thrilled with this new one. “It’s over 2,400 square feet of livable space and I think many potential Regina homebuyers will be able to envision themselves living here.”  The heated, fully finished triple-car garage would be a great entertaining area or “man cave.” For the next six months, the garage will serve as the show home’s sales centre, complete with comfortable seating and a Saskatchewan Roughriders-themed pool table.

Overall, Kaitlin conceived a home that is “contemporary and modern with rustic elements. It’s light and airy, but we have created a balance with warmer, dark colours in the design accents and flooring.”

The kitchen features a quartz waterfall island with gunmetal blue and white cabinetry, antique brass pendant lights, a spacious walk-in butler’s pantry and stainless-steel built-in appliances. A stone fireplace goes floor-to-ceiling in the great room. Families will appreciate a mudroom with custom-built lockers, a family communications centre and an entrance directly into the butler’s pantry.

The second floor includes three bedrooms plus a bonus room and a “Zen den” that could serve as an office or a prayer room. And, those homeowners who dislike climbing downstairs with a full basket of laundry will be glad to hear that the home’s laundry room is on the second floor.  A spacious master bedroom features a large walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom — complete with a custom tile and glass shower, his and hers sinks and a corner jetted tub.

“At Crawford Homes, we’re proud that our floor plans have no wasted space and we focus on the functionality of every area of the house. I strive to ensure the interior design of our show homes isn’t overly stylized so that it’s open for interpretation with each individual client’s vision,” says Kaitlin.
