Lynn Armstrong, Women of Achievement: New Door. A New Day for ZÖE
On August 1, 2018 Regina's grand dame of shoes, ZÖE, opened its new store in downtown Regin in the heart of the Queen City’s fashion and business centre. "Being in step with the lives of our customers is important to us, and ZÖE has always served the downtown business professional and shopper,” says Lynn Armstrong, owner.
The new shoppe is clad in white from the floor to the ceiling, and features the iconic 10 ft. x 12 ft. shoe library, stair cases, industrial tube and clamp fixtures and luxurious spaces, all uniquely created by ZÖE’s design team. The transformation began July 1, and 31 days later, the new shoppe was open for business.
“We love the luxury of texture and light and the play on negative space in our design. In addition to our signature stair cases, the new space features a full wall of glass cabinetry to showcase our collections of shoes, objects and apparel.”
A year ago, Armstrong commissioned textile Artist Danica Kaspar to create a pair of hanging baskets, which are a key part in the shoppe’s design story. “The jute baskets are 5 ft. in length. They are truly works of art and represent well our central mission to create space for independent artists and makers to be seen and to grow their businesses.”
Stop by and experience ZÖE at 1928 12th Avenue. We'd love to see you.
