What do you love most about your job? I love meeting with people, and talking to them and helping them solve concerns about their lifestyle. I find it very rewarding when people take my advice and are successful. I also like working with young people a lot.
What is one thing you are really passionate about? I am really passionate about working with my horses. I enjoy the challenge that these animals give me when I train them.
What is an interesting fact that most people wouldn't know about you? I am an avid hunter and fisher. I love getting out to hunt and fish, even if I don’t catch anything. It’s about being out in nature and enjoying the time, rather than the catch.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to your younger self? My piece of advice to my younger self would be to start sooner. I wish I had started in this business sooner because then I would have been able to teach more young people to be successful in this business. It’s all about giving back.
What is the last book you read? Did you enjoy it, and why? The last book I read was Ego is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday. I really enjoyed it. It really pointed out how ego affects someone’s success. I recommend everyone read it.
What would your best Friday night be? My best Friday night would include leaving work early and going to the ranch to ride horses. I also enjoy spending time with my grandsons and family. I try to get out the office during summers especially and spend time outdoors.
Name one characteristic every business leader possesses. Every business leader has to be a risk taker, and they have a passion for change.
What habits do you have that are important to your success? My work ethic and my discipline in taking care of my clients are important to my success. I work hard to ensure that all my clients’ needs are properly taken care of. I have a passion for their success.
What do your daily rituals and habits include? In the morning I do a Bible study with a coffee on the back deck. I also try to call at least 10 of my clients a day to touch base and see how they are doing.
