What do you love most about your job? The transformation. This is why I love renovations. What an opportunity to be creative. You get to struggle with obstacles and existing elements that make planning difficult, but the reward, in the end, to see it all come together makes it all worthwhile!
What is one thing you are really passionate about? I’m really passionate about people and their experiences. I value incredible experiences in my life, so I just love creating amazing ones for the people around me. This includes event planning, hosting family and friends, creating awesome projects for clients and an inspiring workplace for staff.
What is an interesting fact that most people wouldn't know about you? I would say that many people don’t know that I have OCD about many things like keeping a charged phone, watch and portable stereo; running out of things that I depend on like groceries or more importantly, wine; having many options for clothing in my purse including extra shoes, sweaters, socks.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to your younger self? Be yourself — you’re pretty cool and you’ll always find people who believe it. too.
What Netflix show are you obsessed with? My recent favourite is Workin’ Moms! Their lives seem as chaotic as mine, and it’s Canadian.
What music artists do you love? Oh man, I love hip hop. Drake, Post Malone, Cardi B... so many great tunes! I generally fire these up for my morning workout/dance party.
What would your best Friday night be? My best Friday night would be incredible food, paired to wine and live music, followed up with a little dancing.
Name one characteristic every business leader possesses. Optimism... or a bad memory... ha!
What habits do you have that are important to your success? Work hard, play hard. I love to travel, so I do that a lot, and I surround myself with awesome people who help me to keep life and business rolling while I’m away!
What do your daily rituals and habits include? My daily habits include morning quiet time and planning, a daily workout or soccer game, family snuggles, time in the sun, problem solving with a level head, mentorship, learning something new, saying yes to as much as I can, making time for my people, eat well, drink wine, and be me.
