Enjoy the winter season with these spicy to the tongue and warm to the body Knock on Wood Spiced Rum cocktails.
Mulled Wine Sangria
In a red wine glass add ice, 1 oz. Knock on Wood Spiced Rum, 1/2 oz. Lucky Bastard Saskatoon Berry Liqueur. Add equal parts orange juice, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and soda water. Top with your favourite red wine & garnish with orange slice & frozen cranberries.
Maple Rosemary Rum Sour
In a shaker add 1 oz. Knock on Wood Spiced Rum, 1/2 oz. maple syrup, 1/2 oz. egg white, 1 tsp. meringue, 3 squeezes of lemon. Dry shake (shake without ice). Burn a rosemary sprig and let the smoke enter one half of the shaker. Add a scoop of ice and shake for 30 seconds. Strain mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with rosemary sprig.
Knock on Wood
In a rocks glass add a large ice cube, 1.5 oz. Knock on Wood Spiced Rum, 5 sprays of Lacey’s Bettah Bitters, 1/2 oz. honey syrup. Burn an orange peel releasing the oils and use to rim the glass; then add a brandied cherry to garnish.
Spiced Eggnog Float
In a Collins glass with ice add 1 oz. Knock on Wood Spiced Rum, root beer; drizzle 1/2 oz. eggnog on top and garnish with a dusting of nutmeg.
