The Roaring 20s Come Alive in Downtown Moose Jaw!
Pssst… if you got a few “clams” and you’re looking for a “ joint” that’s on the ritzy side, have we got the “hotsy-totsy!” Get dolled up, and don’t be a “flat tire.” We’re going to make sure you know your “onions” when it comes to the 1920s in Downtown Moose Jaw!
History comes alive in our beautiful downtown. Celebrating our unique past, be entertained and educated at the Tunnels of Moose Jaw. Stores that cater to your every whim line our pretty streets. Some of the most gorgeous heritage buildings in Saskatchewan can be found in Moose Jaw — Yvette Moore’s Art Gallery, The Souvenir Shop, The Mae Wilson (Moose Jaw Cultural Centre) and, of course, the beautifully restored Grant Hall Hotel — and are all gems waiting to be discovered. Stop in and immerse yourself in the ambience.
Tunnels, Axes & a Charming Downtown
Now known as “Canada’s Most Notorious City,” our roots are in the roaring 20s! And we are proud to share our history with you. Travel through our infamous Tunnels of Moose Jaw, try your luck escaping from Mr. Capone’s office at Little Chicago Entertainment (or hey, throw some axes while enjoying a craft cocktail!) or take a stroll down our charming Main Street. Even in the winter, everything is so accessible within a few blocks!
Dive into the Past
If history is your big draw, you need to spend a couple of hours at the Western Development Museum and our local Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery. You’ll meet some of the people and see some of the artifacts that helped build Moose Jaw into such a unique and quaint city.
Catch the Best Cuisine
Of course, you’ll need to eat and we can definitely help you there! From mouth-watering noodle bowls at Saigon 75 to perfectly tender ribs at Cask 82 to the best chicken fingers in the world at Rock Creek Tap and Grill, we have the food to wake up your taste buds! Some other succulent spots are The Mad Greek, Hopkins Dining Parlour, and Déjà Vu Cafe — all locally loved and popular tourist hotspots!
